We draw a line between your two inner eye corners as the horizontal, then measure each eye from inner to outer corner and average both sides.

What is a normal canthal tilt?
Most adults measure a few degrees positive. A slightly negative tilt is common too and is not a flaw — it is one feature among many.
Why does my result change between photos?
Looking up or down, squinting or smiling moves the eye corners. Use a straight-on photo with relaxed eyes; we already correct for a tilted head.
Can canthal tilt be changed?
Brow grooming, eyeliner direction and glasses frames change how the eye area reads. We only suggest non-medical options like these.
